1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Journolog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Journolog is a personal travel diary application that allows you to record trips, diary entries, photos, voice notes, tickets, expenses, and reminders. The app includes cloud sync and optional premium features available via subscription.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in to use Journolog. Sign-in is through Google — we never create, see or store a password. You agree to:

• Keep your Google account secure and not share access to it.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid Journolog Premium subscription.

• A 15-day free trial is available to new subscribers.
• Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• All payments are subject to the terms of your app store.
• We do not process or store payment card information directly.
• Refunds are subject to App Store or Google Play refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology of Journolog are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Journolog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Your use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data or profits.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use, without notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
